I’m a UX/UI Designer based in Brooklyn, New York with 6+ years of experience working in support leadership and UX, using quantitative and qualitative data to advocate for users and turn their stories into more accessible products. I am currently working as a UX Researcher for NYU Langone Health, with a focus on digital health equity initiatives. I've also consulted non-profits through Trestle Collaborative, led guest critiques at the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts, and written articles for UX Collective.
Getting curious about different points of view is the common thread running through my life, education, and career. With a passion for providing empathetic support, I see UX as the natural next step toward helping others at scale.
I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with degrees in philosophy and religious studies. I've worked at Facebook, Instagram, and Zapier.
Wherever I live, I strive to be active in my community. In Austin, I served as a volunteer lead for Inside Books Project, a nonprofit that collects and sends free books to prisoners across Texas. In Brooklyn, I delivered groceries during the pandemic through my neighborhood mutual aid network. I've also DJ'd for 10+ years and strive to create inclusive, healing spaces through dance.
In my free time, I love making soup, bingeing podcasts, and writing essays and short stories.
